My provider has relicensed cPanel on my server on one of my 'secondary' IP's instead of my main IP, how would i set cPanel/WHM to check for the license on that ip instead of my primary/main IP?

You'll have to swap IPs on the box, unfortunately. The IP they license-check must be the primary.

Having just gone through a similar situation, it's not that hard, but you have to do it right or you'll lock yourself out and the only way to get back into the box is via a physical console.

Basically, eth0:0 must be the IP that is associated with the license.

Why did they change on you? The easier solution would be to holler at them and tell them to change it back. (assuming your primary IP hasn't changed)
