I have an idea for security. The cpanel should have a feature that you put your ip as the only ip allowed on the cpanel and on your ftp. That would make your cpanel // ftp or i should say your whole site pretty much secure.

    Go on, have a guess
The main problem with that is that many people still have dynamically assigned IP addresses which would make IP filtering pointless for them.

You could easily achieve what you want using iptables without having to touch any application configuration files. Indeed, if you have APF installed, you can do this easily with the allow and deny files.

Well a solution to that is mostly people with the changing Ip address can is usually the last digits that change example.
    1 Ip Address
    11.111.11.11
    2nd Ip Address
    when ip changes
    11.111.11.22

Thats an example you can use like * for the end so the numbers at the end really has no effect. Its hard to explain. Hopefully you kind of understand what im talking about.
