Does anyone know how to install that instead of phpBB? I've never done it on cPanel X before so this is new to me. All help would be appreciated.

Ipb 1.3 isnt available via cpanel anymore, the version in cpanel is 1.2

of course you can upload and install any version yourself.

This isn't a complete solution, but should prove a useful starting point...

    1. In WHM click "addon scripts" - ensure that Invisionboard is installed.
    2. SSH as root and go to /usr/local/cpanel/addons/InvisionBoard
    3. Rename the pkg.tar.gz to something else.
    4. Upload the IPB package to /usr/local/cpanel/addons/InvisionBoard/pkg.tar.gz
    5. Creat a backup copy of /usr/local/cpanel/addons/InvisionBoard/install
    6. Edit /usr/local/cpanel/addons/InvisionBoard/install accordingly.

If you manage to modify the install script, please post it here for others to use. Remember to keep a copy of the modified/uploaded IPB install files, since they may be overwritten by cPanel updates.
