[ipcheck] Problems with dns setup

IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
The hostname (server1.mydomainhere.com) resolves to . It should resolve to "iphere". Please be sure to correct /etc/hosts as well as the 'A' entry in zone file for the domain.

Some are all of these problems can be caused by
/etc/resolv.conf being setup incorrectly. Please check this file if you
believe everything else is correct.

You may be able to
automatically correct this problem by using the ' Add an A entry for your
hostname ' under ' Dns Functions ' in your Web Host Manager


I did as email asked, add an A entry for hostname. I contacted support host and add an A entry to nameservers too:

added A Entries for both your Nameservers

Finally host asked me to open a ticket here since this did not solved the issue. If i run /scripts/ipcheck I receive the email again and again, every day. How to fix this ?

You need to make sure that in your DNS zone file for your domain, that you have server1 pointing towards the IP of the server. Make sure that you use just the domain name at IntoDNS, and not the server name, ie:

http://www.intodns.com/yourdomainname.tld
