I have a VBB forum on my website and started blocking certain IP addresses a few weeks back. Yesterday I started blocking the same IP addresses using IPDeny in the cpanel. I checked the stats this morning and these same IP's were still able to access the forum and the website today.

    Is there something I missed?

IP Deny Manager in cPanel just adds following lines in .htaccess:

The user from the IP 11.22.33.44 will still be able to access your site but it will get Permission Denied Error and your site pages will not load for him. As he is able to access the site and requests from that IP are reaching the server, the stats are showing the access from that IP.
