I have used Cpanel 5 before getting both WHM and cpanel software so U can say that I am total newbie. I got stucked with apache and http down after autoupdating prosesses, but that was fixed .

Apache needed Virtualhost name to work ( i changed

    line 1080 to ServerName Bihweb

and upuche was up after restart.

Q1 : are there any other places I have to change this value in order to loose conflicts ?

    httpd needed commenting out

    LoadModule php4_module libexec/

on line 217 of my httpd file and

    AddModule mod_php4.c

on line 249 of my httpd file

Q2 : Does this mean that I will not be able to use php on my server ?

Further on I got assigned 10 Ip's to my server. I wanted to spread few domains on different IP's but first i started by making one domain working on primary IP adress. I created one account that was sopposed to go to main IP. I am aware that domain is not yet been trasfered but I should be able to see index file when typing http://IP to browser adress bar. I even tried http://IP/~user, http://IP/user, http://IP/~domain, http://IP/domain and nothing shoed me index file that i trasfered to user public_html . I can even login to cpanel using http:/IP:2082 but no site is shown.

Q3. How do actually see index file in browser or am I doing something wrong here ?

Q4. If I am not running my own nameserver what do I do about domains primary and secundary DNS. A bit hard to understand for me if this is cousing problems since domian is not yet trasfered.

I am sure that I could make a list of 50 Q's but I think this will help me to understand some problemas that I am facing...

    Thanks in advance...
