Hello. I hope everyone is safe and healthy.

Since configserver takes a long time to reload firewall rules when running ipv6 I'm wondering:

1) during the reload time is the firewall down and,
2) if I disable ipv6 will users be unable to access websites if they (the users) are using ipv6 on their systems?

I believe most users run a combination of ipv4 and ipv6 so I'm guessing not, but thought I'd ask for some sage advise before turning off ipv6.

Thanks.

Hello! Disabling IPv6 shouldn't stop users from accessing your websites. The firewall shouldn't necessarily be down, but there might be a second where it's not functioning if the firewall actually restarts during the process. With that being said, we don't support CSF firewall beyond having a WHM plugin for the software, so I am not 100% sure what occurs during the reload process. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions!
