I recently bought a dedicated server with cpanel installed. I was looking around at such a great server and I found this when I ran netstat -al. I am running redhat 7.3 and haven't installed anything. Apparently an ircd is running under /home/installd/buildapache/php-4.3.1/ext/ircg. Anybody know why WHM/Cpanel whould install that. I have to remove it immediatly because my host does not allow IRC on their servers. Thanks in advanced.
