    I heard about Awstats have a big vulneravility in version 6.4 (actual stable) that can be exploted to get root access.. Is this true ?

    Can I activate Awstats from the Tweak Settings or will be better if install it from the source tar.gz ? And can Awstats be only activated for one website ?

    6.4 is secure.

    Versions prior 6.4 were vulnerable.

    6.5 is in the beta, but you may search for my script to update AWStats on this forum and just update the version number to update your AWStats to the latest 6.5 beta...

    ispro,

    Great script, however other than updating the version on line 3 from 6.4 to 6.5 the only download link I could find for the beta version is a different link and different extenison which needs to be updated on the script as well around line 10
    Code:
    http://awstats.sourceforge.net/files/awstats-$VER.tar.gz
    then around line 15
    Code:
    tar zxf awstats-$VER.tar.gz ;
