    Is cPanel kernel specific?
I need to make mods to the kernel of RH9 to support new hardware and therefore upgrade the kernel from the 2.4.20 to 2.4.23rc1. Are there any kernel specific restrictions for cPanel?

    Thanks,

    -Alon

None that I've found. I run custom compiled kernels on all of the cpanel machines I use.

Well. .building on top of this.. what would make RH Enterprise special in that regard as compared to RH9?
Aren't they (almost) one and the same with minor changes mainly related to the service agreement? (I'm referrring to the ES version in specific - and in relation to cPanel)

thanks for the info about the non-issue with the kernel.

    -Alon.
