Is cpanel's frontpag backwards compatable?

    No, it is only compatible back to FP 2000.

    And probably not compatible beyond FP 2002 as in FP 2003 (and assumedly onwards), FP extensions were ditched in preference of yet another proprietory system.

    To be honest, I don't know if this means that FP 2003 can use either FP server extensions or Windows SharePoint Services or only the latter, however I'm inclined to think that, over time, MS will phase out FP extensions in preference of Windows SharePoint Services.

    It was just fortunate coincidence that I was researching the FP situation yesterday. I don't touch FP either!
