Is it me, or does the new backup system not work properly at all?

I have been experimenting with the new backup system on two machines.

When I attempt to restore accounts, the available dates I have to restore dont match what I should have.

For example, I have daily enabled, with each day ticked and set to retain 3.

I have monthly ticked, and set to retain 2.

When I restore, I should therefore be able to restore from the last three days AND the 1st and 15th of the month.. But this isnt happening. At best all I get is 1st and 15th the month.

Has anyone else had similar problems?

Hello :)

Please check to see if the daily backups exist on your system. They should exist in the directory associated with the date the backup was generated. EX:

Code:
/backup/2013-07-21/accounts
If they do not exist, it's a good idea to review the backup log from the date that backups were generated to see if there were any errors. Backup logs are stored in:

Code:
/usr/local/cpanel/logs/cpbackup/
