Recently upgraded to php5 / apache 2 and "/usr/local/apache/bin/httpd -k start -DSSL" now sits high constantly when I do a top in SSH. Is this normal?

I seem to have a lot of these processes running and using up considerable CPU.

Can anyone confirm for me if that is normal?

    Thanks,
    M2

    Go on, have a guess
It's normal if apache is under heavy load.

Thanks for the reply. Seems to be happening even during very light load times with only a few users connected.
