Is it possible to have the same Cpanel hostname for the same server?

Hi guys I was just wondering if it is possible to have the same cpanel hostname (<cpanel hostname=""> ) for different servers.

Root Administrator
You'll have problems if you do that. You should have each machine assigned with a unique host name.

What problem can possibly occur?
I don't want to try it out, just want to know the consequences.
