We currently use an on-premise Exchange Server 2003. In order to relay email sent via salesforce.com, we've configured our Exchange Server to allow for relaying that originates from specific salesforce.com IP addresses. This isn't ideal, but salesforce.com doesn't allow for using user authentication in their email relay setting.

But we're now going to Office 365 hosted Exchange Server 2003 with no other servers on-premise. And it doesn't look like Office 365 allows for relaying via an IP address whitelist, just through an authenticated user.

So is it possible to configure cPanel to relay email sent from the salesforce.com ip addresses?

    Thanks.

You could enter the IPs into WHM > Exim Configuration Editor for this option:
