I have security updates and Dark Orb updates on auto... is it safe/reecomended to have the cpanel/whm updates on auto as well?

With those on, you're at the mercy of whatever gets put into the updates. Sometimes that can do damage, sometimes it means you get fixes faster. It's really a gamble. I try to leave everything but security updates off and manually upgrade the control panels when I feel safe doing so. I watch what the latest builds release on other people's servers and then wait a bit after that for things to get patched up before running in and grabbing a fairly stable (in my point of view) build.

I have only security update ON .

Some week ago my server crashed after an automatic update .
Sometime latest updates could be not stable on your server :p .

I think that cpanel automatic update could be dangerous .
