Is it safe to update? or will I have trouble after upgrading?

Hello,

I'm running a stable version of cPanel/WHM (WHM 9.2.0 cPanel 9.3.0-R5 - RedHat Enterprise 3 - WHM X v3.1.0)

I received news, about new version of cPanel being available -> cPanel 9.4.0 build 10.

NOTE: I have yet to upgrade my Apache from 1.3.29 to 1.3.31

Should I be hasty in upgrading from my current version of cPanel?

or

Can I afford to stick with my current version (without experiencing problems from cPanel/WHM) and upgrade later on?

No one can answer that question for you. There are known security issues with older versions that are patched in current versions. There are probably as of yet undiscovered security issues with the current versions that are not. If you are comfortable running a server with known (and published) exploits floating around for it then who am I to say you should update.

I always wait a few days and read the forum. If there are any problems they are usually answered in the forum by the time I upgrade. Read the forum often.
