Is it safe to upgrade to kernel 2.4.19

    Is it safe to upgrade to new kernel? Anyone upgraded Cpanel box with new kernel 2.4.19? :)

    Hi Dvezad ,

    I upgraded (you know it) :) . No problem with new kernel on red hat 7.3 (however it was need a cpanel update to fix some cpanel red warning.) .

    After the update I have only my /boot dir near 92% because &they& (techs) prefer to mantain old kernel for back up there .

    Hi :),

    As I remember you told me you still have RH 7.1 (or 7.2) and that you upgraded kernel to 2.4.18 not 2.4.19 ?

    Ops , I confused them , you are right . Yes I have 2.4.18 .

    Why you want upgrade to .19 ? 2.4.18 seems to be free from
    exploit ?
