Is mrtg installed by default in the latest cpanel release? If so how is it accessed and configured and is there a way to configure mrtg so the different users only see their share of the bandwidth?
I saw bandmin being installed but took it off due to recent security problems.

took it off because of security problems? All you had to do was .htaccess the bandwidth/ directory.. (??)

MRTG is not default install. You would haveto add it yourself.

Mrtg works server-wide only. Because you can write your own plug-ins, I would assume it would be able to write something that mointors the virtual hosts seperately.

If you'd like to see some real nice articles on mrtg, go have a look at the RackShack Forums. The subject of mrtg for individual hosts has been discussed there as well.

Some integrity please, I think your account should be suspended...

There a million forums that help with mrtg, and a million other things..

Refering a customer here to hosting company is poor, I have seen it before and it saddens me you answer a post just to plug a forum somewhere with a lazy answer pointless answer. You should go webhostingtalk they are right up your alley. In fact they are owned by rack shack.

Put something in your sig and talk like a person not a cheap commercial.

Lets be me more professional, we all share this forum

I apologise if I crossed any boundries in my post. I am not a client of RackShack nor do I have any affilliation with them whatsover.

I did indeed get mrtg going on our servers based on info I found on the RS forum (referral from another forum). My intentions were to help get a fellow member's question answered.

Lesson learned - I'll refrain from using hosting company names. Hope I'm forgiven now ;)

    Sorry, I feel bad now...

You seem like a genuine guy :D

Best of luck in your rackshack forums.

Man, you need to calm down.

All the guy did was offer an option for one of the best references on the net for hosting software. If you find that offensive or as being a "commercial" you've got problems.

Where on Rackshack do they offer a control panel that they code for sale/lease? They don't. They don't code a hosting panel, they sell them. And they sell cPanel. And they have a darn good forum chock full of info.

Yeah, goto WHT. If you wanna read all about how my host is better than yours. And your host is always down. I have yet to find any relevant control panel info on WHT.

If anybodies account should be suspended it shoud be yours, for lack of intelligence when it comes to resources for cPanel and it's customers.

Don't go there if you don't want, but you are missing out on a ton of usefull info.

And NO, this isn't an advertisement to get them more sales. This an advertisement to open your eyes and get a clue.

Jeesh, who made you judge of integrity?

Dude whoever you are.... shut up, I made a mistake and handled it well I think.

Now you ........ just sad for trying to make a big deal out of it.

Maybe you need to unplug and watch a soap opera, but leave your drama fix out of my site.

    I re-read my post, and this :
probably got taken wrong, because I wrote it wrong. I was not refering to MY site and YOUR site, I was refering to the whole attitude on WHT about "people" in general badmouthing each other.

Sorry if that is how you took it, that is not how I meant. I should've put in other terms.

I stand by everything else I said 100%.
