    hello,

This is my first post, i have a disc space in my cpanel of 50mb only and now its almost full around 45mb

i have a joomla installation too, so my question is this

is this a possible reason that my joomla backend and my site frontend are loading a bit slow??

    thanks a lot

    Hi,

    Generally, no.

Databases and front end web sites run off of Apache and MySQL. Slowness would usually be because of one of these systems being under a load. The server itself may also be under a load.

In some rare cases, it is possible that if a web site needs to write to the disk and disk space is scarce that things will bog down... but overall, this is a REALLY rare case. Usually PHP will just burp up a write error instead.

I think you should open up a support ticket with your web host and see what they have to say.

Let us know the advent of your conversations with them.

    Warmest regards,
