Is nagios a bad idea installing on the same server as cpanel?

    I wouldn't install Nagios on the same machine that is running cPanel for checking the server services. For one, Nagios can get intensive and might itself cause an issue for the server. For two, if the server goes down, Nagios will be down and won't alert you that the server isn't running.
