Suhosin 0.9.38 for PHP 5.x is available to install in cPanel EA4 extensions, but not fro PHP 7.x. There is a dev version here: Download, but is it recommended to wait until the latest stable version is available?

I have little experience with Suhosin, and found nothing in this forum about using it with PHP 7.

    Hi @PeteS,

According to their github, suhosin is still pre-alpha:

    Thanks,

Ok, right, I was in a hurry and should have investigated better. (I did assume a dev version wasn't something to run with.)

Will cPanel automatically add the PHP7 extension when it moves to stable so it can be added?

It won't be added automatically, but we'll get the new package added as soon as we can.
