few days ago my servers power blew and damaged my HD so had to reinstall cpanel
and then there where a few problems that my DC fixed, and they upgraded to CPanel C117
but it the C120 safe to upgrade to? is there any major bugs or ..?

Try using the Release version as a new one was posted today (121).
To quote cPanel: "Release builds are the prefered builds to run. They are generally current enough to have the latest bugfixes and new features, but without the worry of new bugs being introduced."

I normally run STABLE or RELEASE tree, however for the past few weeks have been using CURRENT tree and no more trouble [than usual] so far.

EDIT: Just saw that RELEASE is now updated :)

We run currents on all of our servers and have since the current tree was offered. It all depends if you keep a good check on your servers or not. If you want the safer bet and do not keep a constant eye on them then definately stick to release versions.

With an attitude like that im amazed anyone would even bother replying to you.

And just fyi, the most recent current will blow up your server due to an unforseen oversight in the source. :D ( for anyone else reading, im joking.. i sure hope z0rg can't read this!! )
