is the latest kernel not recommended to use?

    I noticed there is a newer kernel then what I am using, but cpanel doesn't throw up a flag to update it.

    Should I stick where I am at or should you always upgrade to the newest to be safe?

    Basically do we trust red-hat's release.

    I upgraded to 2.4.20-20.9 last week and my provider didn't alert me to anything awful. I asked b4 I upgraded if everything was ok, and I got the green light.
