FTP back up only backups websites that are 2 gigs are more as you probably know.

I have tried to tweak ftp but maybe I'm doing it wrong.

Anyone know how to tweak ftp top allow larger then gig file transfers or how to allow cpanel to split the file for ftp backups?

Thanks, Charles

The FTP server you are connecting to is most likely using an EXT2 filesystem. EXT2 supports a max file size of 2 Gb. Cpanel could work around this, but it would be a lot easier for you to just upgrade your other box.
