Is there a way to reset FTP password in WHM or Cpanel ?

    I cannot remember my FTP password, and wanted to know
    if there was a way to reset my FTP password in WHM or Cpanel ?

    Thanks for any help!

    Your FTP password for the main user of the cPanel account, is the same as the login password to cPanel. If you're asking about an added FTP account, yes you can edit that password from your cPanel. Go back to the FTP accounts page where it was setup and click the "Change Password" icon there beside the account.

    Or, there is a Password Modification area under the Account functions section, left menu in WHM to reset the main cPanel account password.

    You cannot only reset the password of your main FTP account. However, if you want to reset the main FTP account password then you will have to reset it from the cPanel --> Passwords. Doing this will automatically reset the password of your cPanel, MySQL and FTP password.
