I have this one accoutn I use for an ad server using phpadsnew and because of this it takes a log time to chug through the weblogs for this accoutn making the load on the server go high. Is there a way to say don't record logs for this account so this specific account doesn't update along witht he rest fo them?

    Go on, have a guess
If you install cPanel Pro and the Stats Selector addons in WHM > Addon Modules > (the refresh the WHM page) you will get a link at the bottom left menu called Configure Statistics Software. Click on the User Permissions button and then enter the user you want to disable in the Configure User textbox and click Configure you'll then be able to untick whichever or all of the stats runs for that user and save them.
