    Hey Everyone...

This cPanel thing is VERY new to me - i have created regular web sites before, but now i have a Realty company that wants a site, and they want to be able to update it themselves once a week... is this the right kind of program for that?

If so - can someone explain how it works.. im reading all over the site, but i still dont get it - do i still design the site myself? how do they get access to change the info?

    any help is really apprecaited!!

    thanxs

    Hey,

This is not the program you want. This program is what webhosts use to manage websites. I suggest that you look into getting hosting from a webhost. (Much cheaper)

You might also want learn how to make websites or find people that can do this for you.

    www.EastSolid.com
    www.1and1.com

    and few good webhosts...

    From,
    Adam

Cpanel does include a WYSIWYG editor, but that's only a small part of the things cpanel includes. You can't install it yourself though. It has to be installed on a full server, so you need to find a host that offers this if you want it.

thanxs but i know how to create web sites.

I know there is a program out there that will let the client log into the site and type into form fields what they want to update, but it stll lets me have control over the design. if you know of the names of this, could you please reply with it?

    thanxs again

Get the information about their local MLS office and call them. They can suggest what other people use in the area or may even have a solution to offer themselves. Then you can set up a script that will automatically update their information from the MLS database and they won't have to touch a thing. :)
