    Hello every body,
    Hello support,
My question is like in the title, but I have to explain it well.
So when we add Amazon S3 as an Additional Destinations in our backup configuration, how WHM can protect our authentication data of Amazon.
For example, if an hacker can have access to my server, is he able to find my Access Key ID and my Secret Access Key of Amazon S3 and remove my backups from Amazon ?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

The information is encrypted within the corresponding ".backup_destination" file in the following directory:

    /var/cpanel/backups/

You can manually review this file to see it's not stored in plaintext.

    Thank you.
