I was adding an ssl certificate when I mistakenly deleted the .cert and .key files for a certificate on the server.

Now when I tried reading the certificate with a different CSR used to generate it (the certificate is from GoDaddy) I get the following error:

The certificate could not be installed on the domain “<domain>.com”.

error No certificate with ID “HASH(0xafff970)” exists.

Everything else has a green check next to it (I'm assuming it states it's ok) but fails when I click install certificate.

Hello :)

Did you provide your SSL certificate provider with the updated CSR so they can issue you a new CRT?

Thank you.

The error message you provided typically indicates the wrong CRT is pasted or populated in the CRT field. Feel free to open a support ticket so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome.

Thank you.

To update, the issue was resolved by removing and then reinstalling the certificate with the correct CRT/CAbundle.

Thank you.
