    Howdy ya'll. I am new to the forums here, and truth be told not had much experience with cPanel / WHM on a root level just yet. I am currently using the CURRENT build of cPanel and trying to use EasyApache to upgrade from PHP 5.4.6 to 5.4.7. I know this is experimental, but I am wondering if anyone may have any clues what may be going wrong with the build. If there is any info I need to provide other than the below, please let me know.

    Code:
    report: "[ What  ] Step 6 (make php for apache and cli)\n[ Where ] PHP 5.4.7 support (Cpanel::Easy::PHP5::4_7)\n[ When  ] Thu Oct  4 04:02:39 2012 ( 1349337759 )\n[ RC    ] 0\n[ text  ]\n\n'make -j2' failed with exit code '512'\n\n[ /text ]\n"
    status: 0

    I am using the same build options for Apache/PHP as I used for the upgrade to PHP 5.4.6. I will try building again to grab the output, and will post it here. But in the meantime, I am wondering if anyone else has experienced this or has any ideas? I've tried searching around, but cannot really find anything.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello :)

    This is a known issue when building PHP 5.4.7 with mcrypt or expat on CentOS systems. For reference, the internal case number is 61238. A resolution is scheduled for inclusion with the next maintenance release of EasyApache (3.14.14). You can monitor the Change Log for EasyApache at:

    EasyApache Change Log

    Thank you.

    Alright, thank you Michael! It is good to know why it is happening. I will definitely keep my eye on the change log. Thanks again!
