Issue with Dreamweaver and Pure-FTD

I updated to latest kernel and cPanel v.64.0 (build 12) last night. Everything went smooth.

Today while doing some work in Dreamweaver I could not connect to my accounts over FTP (explicit encryption). I'm getting an error telling me the server is not reachable.

Using FileZilla works fine with explicit forced.

After some testing and trying I managed to connect with Dreamweaver by turning off encryption.

I know this is not a Dreamweaver forum but getting any insight or help regarding this "over there" would be near impossible.

Guys what can have caused this? Anyone experienced something similar? Is there a solution?

I have not checked the logs on my server. I dont even know which ones to check or where to start. It doesn't seem like Dreamweaver is reaching the server at all though.

Hello,

As of cPanel 64, Pure-FTPD no longer supports TLS 1.0. You may want to check with Dreamweaver to verify it's not attempting to use TLS 1.0 for FTP, or try switching to ProFTPd via "WHM >> FTP Server Selection" to see if that solves the problem.
