Issue with MX Records

    Hello there,

    Just got Cpanel this week and trying to get this working right. Having some issues with our MX records.

    I went in to the WHM DNS and configured the A record for mail and than modified the MX record as usual. So that was done right.

    MX records are working to the extent that only emails coming form outside are sending through. Emails being sent from INSIDE THE SERVER seem not to be working, infact, when your in Outlook and trying to send it just errors out before it sends with an "Unknown error".

    Anyone know what this could be.. I've checked the DNS settings up and down. .. Could it be like some sort of Cpanel bug?

    Error Logs

    Check /var/log/exim_* logs to see if anything obvious is being reported.
