issue with my server: script shell Total access

    hello everybody.

    I have an enormous problem with my server.

    I uploaded a shell script(c99.php) in one of my hosting accounts, and I got total access.

    I can browse other persons accounts, browse /usr dir, /home, /etc. all of them witj no restrictions...


    how can I protect my server from this kind of hack.?
    maybe is a missconfiguration.

    I have the default php.ini with no modifications added.

    I tried but nothing helped me :S
    i have the default php.ini
    safe_mode off
    no functions disabled

    I dont know if this is te reason?
