    Hi,
I have several users that use regular outlook to send/ rec emails.
I have tons that use outlook express.

The problem is.. with outlook, seems that once a month or so, someone using outlook gets blocked from sending.

    It keeps rejecting the password.

This is fixed by resetting the password usually. However, it is a pain in the ass to have to keep doing this.

Today, there is a user and resetting his password didn't help at all. he still can't send. He received just fine. All settings on his end are correct.

How can this be fixed permanately???? This is becoming a huge problem since it keeps happening, and only with outlook users.

    Thank you,
    Tim L

    Upgrade outlook

    Hi,

A few months ago I had very similar issues with one client. It turned out they were using an out of date version for outlook, guiding them through an office update and installing Office 2000 SP1 and SP2 got them to the point where this stopped happening. I believe this bug was documented as being fixed in SP2 by Microsoft.

    Thank you,
I have sent him an email to have him check his version and see if he is up to date if things match up.
Hopefully, this is his problem, so we can move past this issue.

Thank you skrimish for your input.
