Hello,

Ok so this question was asked a lot, but I never saw my type of question:
I'm very new in this field, so bare with me please :)

I created a domain and cPanel did a great job of handling it, I created a subdomain and it works flawlessly (Only 1 issue that I had an error but needed to clear cache)
Now I'm trying to create more subdomains and... Nop, it's not budging.
Examples:
servicecompany.be <- works fine
hermand.servicecompany.be <- works fine
kb.servicecompany.be <- Not working
I checked the Zone Editor and all records match like they probably should, even creating more subdomains doesn't do any good.

I'm sorry, I'm only a simple web designer who needs to keep budget on server costs.

Thanks,
PV

Hello,

When you pointed the domain to the server did you point the nameservers to custom ones or did you use your provider's? If you used your providers nameservers, this would mean that DNS is not hosted on your server and as such DNS changes made on the server will have no effect. In order to create a new subdomain you'll have to also log in where DNS is hosted for the domain and create an A record for it and point it to the IP address of your server.
