Issues after 5.2.10?

    Anyone else noticed dozens of core files being generated in wordpress sites after upgrade?

    There's a new feature in WHM > Tweak Settings
    (CURRENT)
    That can disable core dumps. But you probably should look into why the script is creating them instead of disabling.

    That tweak setting only works for cPanel. It does not impact Apache, PHP or any other service.

    Other than that, the remainder of your advice is sound.

    Looks like it's WP 2.7.0 issue, 2.7.2 works fine with no dumps
