Hi there, i'm new to forum thank you for having me. Over the last few months our HostGator server has been failing. This impacts my business greatly. We have 42 email accounts. After days of email delays and sometimes no emails at all it's obvious they don't care at all. The HostGator India support team says we have viruses on our computers and that's the issue. What a joke. Anyway, I'm moving to A2 Hosting and I'm currently trying to backup my cPanel so it can be transferred. Unfortunately i have over 20GB of emails saved and its over HostGator's limit to do a full cPanel backup.

Our history of emails is extremely important to us as we look back frequently. We have 42 email accounts using IMAP. I'm worried that if i delete the mails on our emails server to satisfy the 20GB limit, i will lose them in outlook.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you..

Welcome to the Forum! While it's not the most ideal solution, Imapsync is a great tool that you can use to move the email, and may be the best option if you're not able to create a full cPanel backup. This isn't supported or developed by cPanel, but many users have had good experiences with that tool over the years.
