Firstly forgive me for starting a new topic but the cpgsd topic is 68 pages long

Ive installed this recently and all seems well, im basically using it for only teamspeak and it installs fine from the users cpanel BUT only if there on a dedicated ip.

So for example i currently have TS running on the following:

    IP: 209.**.***.186
    Port: 14534

    IP: 209.**.***.187
    Port: 14536

    IP: 209.**.***.188
    Port: 14535

I have ports 14534-14537 open in my firewall (apf)

Now, im currently trying to install a second TS server on IP: 209.**.***.186 with the port 14537, the install goes fine, ports and ip are setup correctly in CPGSD admin and show correctly in the cpanel teamspeak section.

The problem im having is when trying to start the server, it basically just gives me another start button repeatedly and the cpanel TS section says the server isnt running (no passwords are shown either)

If i switch this TS setup to IP: 209.**.***.189 it starts and works fine with port 14537.

Now please correct me if im mistaken but i read that im able to run multiple teamspeaks from the same IP as long as they use different ports, how?

Sorry for the lengthy post but i wanted to include as much information as possible and any help would be greatly appreciated.

    cheers.

i dont think you can change the port of the admin panel. because its the default one. if you want more than one superadmin/admin panel do different ips with its default port.

    Like:

    111.111.111.11:14534

    222.222.222.22:14534

    333.333.333.33:14534

and for more teamspeaks in one panel just use 111.111.111.11:8767 and so on 8989 etc etc plus i dont think ive seen a ts ip with a 5 numbered port im pretty sure there all 4 numbered ports.
    regards, adam

Hi woody and thanks for your reply but im not installing TS manually as such, its being done using cPanels gameserver addon:

    http://forums.cpanel.net/showthread.php?t=30272

It is stated there that multiple TS servers can be installed and ran on the same ip using a different port (per cpanel)

Hopefully darren or someone else who has managed to get this working can offer some advice on how they managed it.

This is what I get when trying to install TeamSpeak addon... anyyone have an idea how to fix this?

    bzip2: Compressed file ends unexpectedly;
perhaps it is corrupted? *Possible* reason follows.
    bzip2: Inappropriate ioctl for device
Input file = (stdin), output file = (stdout)

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

    tar: Child returned status 2
tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors
chown: cannot access `/home/xxxxxx/.gameservers//tss2_rc2/': No such file or directory
