I've deleted /home/username/etc - how can I fix it?

Hi,

By mistake I deleted the /home/username/etc folder of a customer account. Now his account is unable to create new e-mail accounts through cPanel. After filling the form with the e-mail address and password, cPanel sais the /home/username/etc/passwd does not exist.

How can I re-generate this /home/username/etc folder so e-mail operations can work again?

Hi, thanks for the quick reply. The backup copies I have the folder etc is already absent. So I need a way of re-generating it.
