    WHM 8.5.4 cPanel 8.5.5-E38
    FreeBSD 4.9-RELEASE - WHM X v2.1.1

While user is jailshell and tries to connect to mysql

    >mysql

    He gets the following error:

/usr/libexec/ld-elf.so.1: Shared object "libmysqlclient.so.12" not found

Linking to /usr/libexec/libmysqlclient.so.12 from /usr/local/lib/mysql/libmysqlclient.so.12 did not work either.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi.

    Thank you for the response.

We have just converted our OS from redHat to freeBSD and clients would use jailshell to connect mysql...

jailshell on freebsd is completely jailed..safer, but maybe pointless.

Would like to hear your thoughts, though, on freebsd because I'm thinking of making the switch, too.
