After porting a site from a webhoster using Plesk to one with CPanel, I could not get a javascript command
<script language="JavaScript1.2"> activated. In vain I tried Firefox, IE, and Netscape; it works with all of them on the first hoster.

Is there an error message when you try to load that specific page that you could provide? If you do not have access to the global server logs at /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log and it isn't logging to the page, please try checking cPanel > Error Log location.

No, the SSI that refers to the page with the Javascript command is just ignored.

I have not found anything remotely resembling what you describe. I found mainly visitor & usage statistics logs, and a small statistical section in an Awstats page on HTTP-codes.
I have submitted a ticket to the ISP now asking for clarification
