OK. It was literally released to stable yesterday (
JetBackup Changelog ). I may be very conservative, but I would not jump onto a new version of backups the day after it's released ;-)
Hello
@ffeingol,
I would like to just point out that with JetBackup, every new version undergoes extensive QA and must be approved by our QA and Support Teams before release. On top of this, our software undergoes security testing from industry-leading security experts. After release, our support team which is available 24/7/365, actively reports new bugs and problems so that we can fix these as fast as possible.
Lastly, we allow users to install JetBackup 5 with the same license as JetBackup 4. This way, users can test and configure their backups with the new version while maintaining their current backup plans with JetBackup 4. We also provide an
UPGRADE GUIDE which will help clarify the differences between JetBackup 4 and JetBackup 5 and help getting started with the upgrade process.
I hope you find this information helpful and thank you for your continued support of our product!
