Have a customer that had their site hacked.
When we went to restore from daily, weekly, monthly the joomla DB did not restore.

I opened the cpbackups/daily/customer/mysql/customer_joomla.sql it is almost empty,

Same with weekly and monthly, they know their site was working yesterday.

Restoring their account is not restoring the DB.

Anyone know anything I am missing.

If Entire MySQL, try extracting cpbackup/daily/dirs/_var_lib_mysql_.tar.gz and look for that raw database structure. If that seems to be complete then copy it over the original structure at /var/lib/mysql. Be sure to chown/chmod it with proper ownership/permissions afterwards

    I went to /backup/cpbackup/monthly/dirs did a tar zxvf _var_lib_mysql_.tar.gz

    then cd /backup/cpbackup/monthly/dirs/var/lib/mysql/USERNAME

there is only a db.opt file there same as in /var/lib/mysql/USERNAME

all accounts are the same. What am I missing from you post?
