Joomla Upgradation

    Hi,

    Right now, my webhosting company is providing me with JOOMLA 1.0.x and i want to upgrade to 1.5 would you guys help me to install from my WHM.

    AFAIK joomla 1.5 is still in development stage. therefore not released to fantastico to instal via cpanel.

    it seems your only option is to do it manually or contact the joomla forum for assistance.

    actually it is stable since a couple of days.

    its still new though, and you should install manually since its not really that hard.

    my guess is that fantastico will come with the automated installer within a few weeks, but you will not be able to upgrade from 1.0.13 to 1.5 through that one.

    Joomla 1.5 looks totally different from previous versions and should really be used on test site before release in the real world on your site.
    Saying that currently manual upgrade is the only way to go
