When I add a new tomcat account to the server, when we access the account (prior to the domains dns being changed) using http://ipaddress/~username/jsptest.jsp, the jsp does not execute because it is not compiled. If we view source, we can see the jsp code..

Once the domain resolves to the atomcat ccount and we access the account by http://www.domainname/jsptest.jsp, the jsp executes properly.

Is there another way to access and test a tomcat account prior to changing the domains dns?

Apparently http://ipaddress/~username/jsptest.jsp is not the correct way.

Have spent hours going through the :) documentation without finding an answer.

Would appreciate any help you can offer.
