Hi,

Please move this to another category if not appropriate here. This is an email management question I guess.

We will have a number of people sending/receiving emails, through our email server, BUT they will be using their locally based email clients. Can the email server trap this and keep a copy of all emails sent via/through the server ? Possibly CPanel already has a feature to handle this ? I know there is a method setup to pipe a script, but what if the script fails ??

Thanks @cPanelAnthony, that looks like a good solution.

I did some minor testing with forwarders. It relied on forwarding from one email account/box to another. So, sent a test email , and it also forwarded to the other box. So this was a method to obtain a copy of all emails sent to a particular email address that is connected to an email account/box.

As I'm on a shared server, the hosting company wasn't able to offer the "archive" feature, as it will affect all the other users, and possibly cause a disk space management problem.

Yes, the VPS or Dedicated system will give me more control for sure. Just not an option for now ( $$). So, the forwarder will work okay.
