kernel 2.4.20-28.9 What's wrong??

    hi all,
    afther upgrading to kernel 2.4.20-28.9 i not that the server runs very slow and the CPUsage goes ofthen from 3.50 -> 20.00 without any reason. (it never goes over 3.50)
    Is there any problem with that vers. of kernel?
    And is there any way to fix that kernel problem?
    I really kan't run a machin with cpusage 20.00!

    cPanel 8.5.4-R72

    If you haven't tried compiling the kernel from source, I would advise you give that a try. No known problems to report w/ that kernel here.

    We're noticing the same thing. Although, it seems only a few servers are having the issue with the kernel.

    MattDr2-- do you have any fix for that issue ?
    What about downgrade to an earlyer version of kernel?
