Kernel and Firewall

    Hi

    I acquired a server recently and it would like to update Kernel and to install a firewall.

    How is it do to update Kernel? I use redhat fedora! :confused:

    Which firewall do I install and do I eat?? :confused:

    iptables (the Linux software firewall by netfilters) should already be compiled into your fedora kernel. The usual recommendation is to install APF, which is a great iptables firewall that is very easy to configure. There's a tutorial over here:

    You should contact thelinuxguy (sales@rack911.com) to do your kernel if you aren't familar with it. :)

    Very inexpensive, and it'll save you breaking your whole server.
