kernel: application bug: whostmgrd(11989)

    Hello All,

    Dual Xeon 2.4 1GB RAM 73GB SCSI, 80GB IDE HD RedHat 9.0 (4 cpus)
    WHM ==> 8.5.5-RELEASE_20
    Kernel ==> 2.4.20-27.9smp #1 SMP

    tail -f /var/log/message
    ======================
    Dec 26 02:29:17 server kernel: application bug: whostmgrd(11989) has SIGCHLD set to SIG_IGN but calls wait().
    Dec 26 02:29:17 server kernel: (see the NOTES section of 'man 2 wait'). Workaround activated.

    WHAT IS THIS ?????

    I've got it too and it's been hitting my /var/log/messages ever since my RHE Cpanel reimage.

    Jan 20 16:25:27 cpanel kernel: application bug: cpaneld(24326) has SIGCHLD set to SIG_IGN but calls wait().
    Jan 20 16:25:27 cpanel kernel: (see the NOTES section of 'man 2 wait'). Workaround activated.
